Bings Scholarship

Provided by the income from a bequest made by Mrs Elsie Violet Wells, these scholarships are to be in the fields of: medicine, veterinary science, agriculture, psychology, psychiatry or theology.

Eligibility:

The fields of research in which the scholarships will be tenable for the years 2013 - 2018 are as follows:

• 2013 and 2016 Psychology and Psychiatry
• 2014 and 2017 Medicine and Veterinary Science
• 2015 and 2018 Agriculture and Theology

The award shall be tenable by those undertaking full time study at a university in New Zealand.

Value and number awarded:

$2,000 for the Masters thesis year.

Normally one scholarship awarded each year.
