The Todd Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship in Energy Research recognises the work of Sir Bryan Todd. Sir Bryan, who played a major role in the creation of the Todd Foundation, was instrumental in the development of the New Zealand oil and gas industry.The purpose of this scholarship is to support students undertaking doctoral research in the field of Energy, which may have wide relevance including value to New Zealand.
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, or hold New Zealand Permanent Residency, and must hold an appropriate bachelors degree with first or second class honours, or masters degree, and have already demonstrated a capacity for research.
$25,000 per annum for up to three years, and $3,000 available for conference expenditure.
One scholarship awarded per year.
