The purpose of the Todd Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship in Energy Research is to support students undertaking doctoral research in the field of energy, research which may have wide relevance and add value to New Zealand.
This scholarship recognises the work of Sir Bryan Todd.
Sir Bryan played a major role in the creation of the Todd Foundation and was instrumental in the development of the New Zealand oil and gas industry.
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, and hold an appropriate Bachelor's degree with first or second class honours, or Master's degree. Applicants will have already demonstrated a capacity for research.
$25,000 per annum for up to three years, and $3,000 available for conference expenditure
One scholarship may be awarded each year.
