Spark New Zealand is a major digital services company committed to developing the country's digital capability and workforce of the future.
The Spark Scholarship aims to foster a more diverse talent pool so are equipping highly talented New Zealand women with the skills they need to succeed in the digital age through sponsorship of study in a technology-related discipline at a New Zealand university.
To be eligible to apply for a Spark scholarship an applicant must be:
- a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- studying or planning on studying for a Bachelors degree at a NZ university
Check that the programme and the subject(s) you are studying/will study meet the conditions of the award by referring to the Regulations.
Number, value and tenure
Up to five scholarships are available each year.
Each scholarship carries an award of up to $5,000 per annum, with tenure for up to three years ($15,000 in total over three years of an undergraduate degree).
