Girdlers’ Scholarship

The Girdlers' Scholarship is for undergraduate study at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University.  Girdler Scholarships aim to transform lives by offering opportunities not otherwise available.  With this in mind, we will try to give priority to scholars who will be the first generation in their family to go to university, and to those from less affluent backgrounds.

The Worshipful Company of Girdlers has had an association with New Zealand since 1933 and in 1952 resolved to set part of its income aside for the purpose of a scholarship to enable distinguished New Zealand school students to undertake a degree course at either Oxford or Cambridge. It is now specifically Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.
