Robertson Scholars Program

The Robertson Scholars Program is for undergraduate study at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.

The Robertson Scholars Program was established by Julian and Josie Robertson of New York in 2000, and provides opportunities for those who have gained admission to either Duke University or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the USA to enjoy the benefits of both institutions. Julian and Josie Robertson have generously offered one place to a talented New Zealand undergraduate student each year. 

  

Eligibility: 

Applicants must: 

  1. be entered for the Year 13 senior school examination (for example, NCEA Level 3, Cambridge exams, etc) or equivalent senior school exam in the year of application
  2. be New Zealand citizens or have New Zealand permanent resident status
  3. normally have completed their five years of secondary schooling in New Zealand

Value: 

The Program provides full tuition, room and board and a living stipend.  In addition, support is provided for three summers of service, research and travel, as well as a laptop computer. Usually one scholarship will be awarded each year.
