DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Scholarships

The German Academic Exchange Service offers scholarships annually to New Zealand students for graduate study in German universities in all academic disciplines including the fields of music and fine arts.

  

Eligibility: 

Study Scholarships for graduates of All Disciplines

Candidates must hold a Bachelors degree of a high standard. Candidates are generally preferred to give evidence of an adequate knowledge of the German language.  Exceptions are possible when scholarship holders are enrolled in international degree courses, which are given in English

 

Value and number awarded: 

Each scholarship provides for the following:

  1. A monthly allowance which is dependent on the candidate's academic qualifications;
  2. Travel allowance;
  3. A study fee allowance of up to €500 per semester if study fees apply.

Number of scholarships awarded varies each year.

Decisions made:
