The money for this scholarship has been made available by a bequest from the estate of Edith Fraser who wished that it be used for an award in agricultural or silvicultural sciences.  

Eligibility 

Applicants must be graduates of a New Zealand university and be New Zealand citizens.  

Value and number awarded 

Approximately $10,000 for one year 

One scholarship is awarded annually.

To support postgraduate research in law that will protect and promote the interests of the public in relation to legal matters in New Zealand.

The Edna Waddell scholarships are for women entering their first year of full time study for undergraduate degrees in professional engineering or technology at New Zealand universities – open to school leavers and mature women.
