Briefing to incoming Minister outlines sector priorities

Universities New Zealand has a prepared a briefing for the incoming Minister of Education. This includes an overview of the university sector and outlines a number of current priorities, including:

• restarting international education
• achieving equitable outcomes for priority student groups
• student success in the Covid era
• student wellbeing and pastoral care
• maximising the impact from research and innovation
• a higher education funding system that delivers better and more equitable outcomes for everyone.
