International recognition of New Zealand university qualifications

New Zealand offers a high-quality education system. All New Zealand universities have strong quality assurance mechanisms, which is a key reason why our education system is world-renowned with every university being in the top 3% worldwide. Employers around the world welcome graduates of our education system, recognising their strong academic qualifications, practical skills, their ability to think critically and creatively, and their readiness for the global marketplace.

New Zealand has arrangements with key education and trading partners from European and Asia-Pacific countries, committed to recognising each other’s qualifications. These arrangements can be bilateral with individual countries, or multilateral, with a group of countries. Universities NZ has signed specific qualification recognition agreements with Germany, France and Spain.

More information about recognition of New Zealand qualifications internationally is available on the New Zealand Qualifications Authority website.
